As a family member or local professional, do you ever have specific questions regarding behavioral, developmental, emotional or social needs of your child or one you are working with?
If so, take advantage of the Family and Community Resource Room at Florissa (144 North Court, Dixon), which contains books, videos, learning aids, and visual supports that are available to families, teachers, services providers and anyone else with an interest.
A work station is also available to allow for the creation of personalized schedules and aids. The program’s knowledgeable staff can provide information about the agency’s various resources and services, as well as other community resources and events. A list of topical web sites is provided below.
For more information about the Family and Community Resource Room contact Janet O’Donnell, Family Resource Coordinator, at (815) 288-1905.
