Friendships: The Middle School Years

Across the middle school years, the social skills required for successful peer relationships become more complex, especially for children with social skill difficulties.

During Friendships: The Middle School Years children in 5th through 8th grades will learn about middle school friendships and the social skills they need to make and keep friends. This group is appropriate for children who struggle to make friends, children who have trouble understanding social relationships and children who lack awareness of appropriate behaviors with peers.

This group for Middle School (Junior High) students will meet starting Thursday, November 9th from 4:30 – 5:30 PM. Each session will be held at Florissa, 144 North Court Street in Dixon.

Registration fee for this series is $40.00 per youth. Scholarships are available.

Snacks will be provided at each session. To register contact Janet O’Donnell of Florissa at (815) 288-1905.
