Starting March 2nd, High School students will learn about the social skills they need to make and keep friends, and grow in their understanding of social cues and rules across adolescence.
The High School Years Peer Group will provide a safe place to talk about individual goals and struggles, and to recognize individual strengths that can be used in social situations.
This group is appropriate for teenagers in 9th through 12th grades who struggle with self-awareness and appropriate behavior with peers, for teens who have trouble understanding social interactions, and teens who want to better understand the social world around them.
Registration fee $40. Scholarships available. To register call Janet O’Donnell of Florissa at (815) 288-1905, extension 106. This group series will run from March 2nd – April 6th and be held at Florissa (101 East First Street, Dixon) from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
