Friendships: The High School Years

During Friendships: The High School Years, high school aged students will learn about the social skills they need to make and keep friends, as well as grow in their understanding of social cues and rules across adolescence. The group will provide a safe place to talk about individual goals and struggles, and to recognize individual strengths that can be used in social situations.

This group is appropriate for teens entering 9th through 12th grade who: struggle with self-awareness and appropriate behavior with peers, have trouble understanding social interactions or want to better understand the social world around them, including healthy use of social media and technology.

This group for High School students will meet starting Thursday, August 24th from 4:30 – 5:30 PM. Each session will be held at Florissa, 144 North Court Street in Dixon.

Registration fee for this series is $48.00 per youth. Scholarships are available.

Snacks will be provided at each session. To register contact Janet O’Donnell of Florissa at (815) 288-1905.
