Children in 1st through 4th grade who struggle with making or keeping friends will benefit from Friendship: Elementary Group, a fun and engaging group. This Friendship group will be held on Thursdays from 4:30 – 5:30 PM starting October 5, 2017. The group will NOT meet the week of Thanksgiving.
Your child will learn skills they can use with peers in school and their neighborhood. These skills will enhance their social functioning which is an important aspect of their healthy development. This group experience is appropriate for children who are shy, have trouble understanding social relationships, or lack awareness of appropriate behaviors with peers.
The registration fee for this Friendship group is $40 per child. Scholarships are available. Snacks will be provided at each group session.
